OUR LAST VISIT PRIOR TO PRE-SETTLEMENT VISIT

The outdoor shutters are not done - but the blue Stain/Paint is started - And BEAUTIFUL!!

The protection was removed from the floor - and the hardwoods look - BEAUTIFUL!!

Fireplace - Mantle...BEAUTIFUL!! and Rob measuring for my Roy Tabora "Jewel of the Night"

The "Red" tag requested window door for study - BEAUTIFUL!!

MY KITCHEN...BEAUTIFUL!!!
So do we see a trend...Everything was simply BEAUTIFUL!!  I am so excited about the next 12 days.  I was very happy with the look of the stone in person - and the blue door really helped I think.  I was initially disappointed that the blue shutter work was not finished, nor were the appliances in.  But when we were driving away I was actually glad it was not complete.  That will make the visit on August 21st that much more exciting.  It will still truly be our first look at the completed project.  We can't wait...but I guess we have too.

  1. I love the navy shutters and door, can't wait to see it completed!

Would you mind sharing the mantle to ceiling measurement? We're concerned about having enough space and would love to have an idea of it.

    1. Thanks,

The measurement I had from the ceiling to the top of the mantle was 40 1/2 inches. The measurement depth sticking out from the stone to the edge varied somewhat because of the different size stones sticking out. So, I averaged it to around 9 inches in depth. I measured the width too, but didnt write it down, but I think its around 43-45 inches wide.

  2. We opted for the same door for the study. Love it! Makes the study not seem so small and really lets the natural light shine through.

    1. Yes, that door was one of our NS requests. I saw that door on one of the Ryan Homes models online looking through a plethora of model homes (I want to say it might have been a Stanhope?) in the study, and liked it alot, a no-brainer for us to ask for it. Since we are going to use that room as an office, (whereas some people don't) I figured the glass door would be more of a nice touch.
